Kaori Yuki
One of my favorite artists is Kaori Yuki. She actually has a website, which I was thrilled to find the other day.

http://www.yukikaori.jp/

Kaori Yuki is a manga-ka, or an author/artist of a graphic novel series. She's done quite a number of works, and has several published art books available some even available in America, including Angel Cage, which I really really want but it's too expensive.T_T I started collecting her most famous work available in America, Angel Sanctuary, way back when I was just starting high school. She has a way with ink, and from what I hear, she did it all by hand, from scraping the screentones to inking her pencil lines; of course, she has assistants(there's no way she could've done her work otherwise), but her style and detail work stays consistant throughout. You can usually find her latest manga in the monthly(or weekly, I believe it's monthly, though) Japanese manga compilation magazine Hana to Yume, and you can find translated versions of her work in places like Borders and Barnes and Noble.

I want that art book so badly...alas, poor wallet...T_T
